10 Reasons You Should Skip Bathing for a Week

1. To save soap- if you save soap that means you save money, and saving money is always good.
2. I'm not a very good swimmer- So it would decrease my chance of drowning
3. Taking a bath once a week would make you smell- So that would help chase away all your sports competitors or those people you just don't like
4. Save Time- If you only bath once a week, that means you can use that 20 minutes it takes to have a bath to do important stuff, like school work :)
5. Use your natural oils- Natural hair oils are very good for your hair, so it would make it healthy
6. Must save water- Due to all the polar ice caps melting, it is just unnatural for me to continue going on with my daily life and showering everyday even though I'm harming the environment
7. I'm allergic to the water- I would brake out with hives and my throat would begin to close= bath less
8. To lose weight- You would simply smell yourself before eating and lose your appetite
9. Other Methods- There is other methods you can use to bath yourself that saves time and money.. like sponge bathing.
10. Lazy- Bathing is a big hassle you have to wash your hair, clean your body. And after your done you have to dry your hair, do you hair, dry your body, pick out clean clothes etc...

Journal Entry

"The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls

This book made me see my life differently, that I should never be thankful for anything, each meal I eat I try not to waste, because I always think of familes like Jeannette's on how they were happy, for even stale beans. The father of this book is very unresponsible, even though he does interesting things with his kids, like pets a cheetah, he puts them in danger more the less of the time. The mother of the book, is very selfish. She has a full teachers degree but she chooses not to work. She had a full chocolate bar, and she would rather see her kids starve the share a little piece.

Thanks

The book I am reading is called "The Glass Castle" which is a memoir about the struggles and the life that Jeannette Walls lived.

This book makes me thankful for so many things. For the things I don't think about everyday to be thankful for. Like a house with no termites, 3 meals or more everyday, heating, and just a loving and trust worthy family. Unlike, Jeannette Walls whose father is a drunk, and mother is a highly educated lazy person, who could be earning the family money but instead with rather paint.

I watched the interview on Youtube of Jeannette interviewing her mother Rose Mary. Rose Mary was a lot different then I thought she would be, she was heavier set, and I was thinking her living on the streets at all seh would be rather skinny. But then again, I remember her saying in the book that she is addicted to chocolate like Jeannettes father is addicted to alcohol.

The Ending of 'The Lottery'

I compare the ending of the Lottery how they choice one person out of a hat to get stoned to The Holocaust. I compared these too things because in both cause the choice is very random, and it proves nothing other then less people in the world. I find the ending of 'The Lottery' very selfish, even though people are fighting for the lives through poverty, cancer etc.. they will still take the life of a completely healthy individual. This is the same as 'The Holocaust' to because the Nazi's just took the life millions of innocent and healthy Jew's, gays, and blacks. This shows how judgemental our world is today, and how we don't accept many of raises, and people who don't meet our expectations. Or what we think people are suppose to look like. I find it very ironic how the person that was the happiest got chosen to get stoned. Like how the jews would do anything to survive but the Nazi's wanted nothing to do with them.

Top 3 Holidays

I choice the top 3 holidays, because everyone has a different perception of what holidays they like and to the ones they dislike.

My criteria for the top 3 holidays was what makes it special to me, what is the best part of the holiday, and one thing you dislike about the holiday.

1. My birthday- My birthday is April 17th, this is my favorite holiday because it is about me, its when I turn a year older, not anyone else in my family. The best part of this holiday is it sets me apart from other people. One thing I dislike is how you have to eat cake. And I don't like cake.

2. Christmas- Christmas is special to me because you get to spend time with your family everyone together, and in the morning i get to drink shanpane and orange juice, and later at night you get to have a BIG christmas dinner with all my family together. The best part of the holiday is of course the wonderful presents you recieve from your family members. One thing I dislike about this holiday is all the money I have to spend on all my family members, and I have a big family too.

3. Thanksgiving- Thanksgiving is special to me because you get to tell your everyone how thankful you are for everything they have given you and how much you appreciate having them in your life. The best part about this holiday is when my family all sits around the table and tells everyone what they are most thankful for, I believe this is important because this is the one day in a year that you can actually tell someone how much they meant to you. The one thing I dislike about this holiday is how you eat turkey on thanksgiving because I HATE turkey.

Random

This upcoming spring break I'm am hoping to go to Mexico on that Youth Group event. To be build houses for the poverty stuck families. Many of my friends have gone on this trip and i have heard only good things about it. How they get to Mexico is by this big bus, which takes about 2 days to reach destination. All the money for the trip is fun raised through the Youth Group. I am hoping to get quite a few of my friends together to join me in this adventure I plan to take. On this trip you get to see young kids who are thankful for everything they have, and always have a smile on their face. It makes me think of how much I take for granted in my everyday life. We go for 2 weeks, where as I hear pretty much everything you take, don't expect to see it back.

Superpowers

When I was little, I always wondered what it would be like to be able to do magic. To be able to get what you want, when you want it all the time, would be the greatest gift ever. To help the needy get proper shelter, to provide a safe environment for the homeless animals by creating a big room with never ending food. To be able to get anyone anywhere in the world in a matter of milliseconds would make me feel so important. The point of money, airplanes, grocery stores would be pointless to me. To make everyone happy all the time would be my dream, and if I had superpowers and was able to do magic, I would make this happen.
